Nick Saunders Named National Merit Scholarship Recipient
Congratulations to Nick Saunders ‘20 who has been selected as a winner of the National Merit Scholarship. Nick is one of 2,500 high school seniors to receive this honor.
The National Merit® Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships that began in 1955. Approximately 1.6 million high school students enter the program each year. Winners of Merit Scholarship® awards are chosen from the finalist group based on their abilities, skills, and accomplishments (without regard to gender, race, ethnic origin, or religious preference).
Nick plans to attend North Carolina State University and study Engineering.
