Summer Term at Greensboro Day School

Summer Term at Greensboro Day School allows currently enrolled students and students from the broader Triad community an opportunity to challenge themselves, dedicate focused time to a particular subject area, and receive academic credits during the summer.

All courses and jumpstart camps are offered in-person on the Greensboro Day School campus unless otherwise noted. Classes are for rising 7th - 12th graders. Please contact Peter Williams if you have any questions.

Global Online Academy Summer Classes

Classes include Abnormal Psychology, Academic English Accelerator, Architecture, Business Problem Solving, Computer Science I: Computational Thinking, Computer Science II: Java, Creative Nonfiction Writing, Cyber Security, Digital Photography, and more!

Pricing

  • All 0.5 credit courses at GDS: $800
  • All 1.0 credit courses at GDS: $1,600
  • College Counseling Jumpstart: $500
  • Middle School Math Camps: $500
  • Other Jumpstart Camps: $250
  • GOA 0.5 credit courses: $750 for current GDS students, $1,000 for others
  • GOA 1.0 credit courses: $1,000 for current GDS students, $1,200 for others
Limited financial assistance is available for non-GOA courses. Please contact Dajana Milicevic for information.
The deadline to register for classes is June 1, 2022. If a minimum number of students are not enrolled by the June 1 deadline, courses may be removed from the schedule.
