Generations of Giving
Greensboro Day School was founded on the support of dedicated volunteers, parents, and community members who saw the value in creating and sustaining the best educational opportunity in the region. As told by former Board Chair, Gail LeBauer, the success of the school almost 50 years later belongs to "the tribute of dreamers." Greensboro Day School is now recognized as an exceptional school throughout the state and nation.

Each year, tuition provides the most significant source of income to the school. However, our expenses are higher than our income, so philanthropy helps to bridge the gap. The Annual Fund First campaign impacts every student and is critical in maintaining Greensboro Day School as the most dynamic and comprehensive PreK - 12 academic environment in the Triad.

Endowment gifts are another critical factor in the sustainability of Greensboro Day School. These gifts help provide continuing professional development for our faculty and maintain the unsurpassed facilities and programs in academics, arts, and athletics.

No matter how you give to Greensboro Day School, you are creating a legacy for the students of today and the future. The voices are diverse, the listening is genuine, the commitment is unwavering, and the product remains the most caring, trustworthy, and joyful learning community in the Triad.

Our first 50 years have made us an educational leader, and our Advancement program allows that to continue into our next 50 years.

Please join us today in our efforts to sustain Greensboro Day School.
Greensboro Day School develops the intellectual, ethical, and interpersonal foundations students need to become constructive contributors to the world.
