Sallie Warmath '76 receives 2022 Alumni Service Award

Each year, the GDS Alumni Association presents the Alumni Service Award to a graduate who exhibits dedication to Greensboro Day School through exemplary leadership in voluntary service to the school. We are pleased to announce that this year’s recipient is Sallie Warmath ’76.

Sallie has given much of her time to Greensboro Day School. She has helped plan numerous class reunions, helped build our Alumni Weekend events, encouraged classmates and friends to attend.

She has also been one of our most loyal supporters and volunteers for the Annual Fund. Over the last two years, her personal outreach to her classmates on behalf of the Annual Fund has resulted in huge increases in their giving percentage, forcing her brother to up his game with his class! 

She has also written for the magazine, having drafted an article for our 40th anniversary. Sallie is a great ambassador for our alma mater, and for these reasons and so many more, we are excited to recognize Sallie Warmath ’76 with our 2022 Alumni Service Award. Thank you, Sallie, for continuing to give back to Greensboro Day School in so many ways.
