Dr. Stephanie Marshall-Thompson ’98 Receives Distinguished Alumni Award
At Greensboro Day School’s Graduation on May 27, Head of School Tracie Catlett presented the 2022 Distinguished Alumni Award to Dr. Stephanie Marshall-Thompson ’98. Dr. Thompson is a Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist at The Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Science at Saint Barnabas in Livingston, New Jersey. She is an attending physician in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center. Dr. Thompson is 1 of only 50 black female infertility specialists in the country.
Dr. Thompson has received many honors throughout her career and is an active contributor to the field of scientific research and literature. She shares her expertise on the national stage and has appeared on numerous national television programs, including CNN and Dr. Oz. Most recently, Dr. Thompson was featured in the MSNBC documentary Stories We Tell: The Fertility Secret. This documentary received a Gracie Award, which recognizes media created by, for, and about women who have made inspirational contributions to the industry.
In recognition of her numerous achievements and work that has positively impacted the lives of so many, we are proud to present the 2022 Distinguished Alumni Award to Dr. Stephanie Marshall-Thompson ’98.
