GDS Names Director of Leadership Giving

We are pleased to announce that Jill Jones will join GDS on July 1 as the Director of Leadership Giving. Ms. Jones has over 10 years of independent school experience, including a five-year stint as Advancement Director, where she helped her school exceed a $10 million campaign goal. In addition, she has managed the P.O.W.E.R. of Play Foundation, furthering her understanding and experience in philanthropy. Ms. Jones’ references described her as the consummate team player, a selfless collaborator, and a person who has a genuine interest in people and relationships.

Ms. Jones was selected following a competitive search with three qualified finalists. ​Her hiring brings GDS ​closer to independent school norms with regard to fundraising staff. We are thrilled to welcome Jill to our community!
