As part of the Women in Leadership conference sponsored by NCAIS, GDS students Sofia Brennan ’24, Bebe Greene ’23, Jasmine Rai ’25, Eleah Stewart ’24, and Grace Whittaker ’26 were able to participate in a GenHERation Google Leadership panel. Students met virtually with three women in leadership positions at Google and spoke with them about how they navigated their career paths.
Young women in grades 8–12 were invited to apply for this opportunity, with attendees selected through a lottery system. Middle School English & Social Studies Teacher Ashley Harris also attended the panel as an observer. “To say that I was impressed by the high-level questions our ladies asked would be an understatement,” she said. “They represented GDS well, and I could not have been more proud of how they actively participated and conducted themselves as leaders!”
